“It was definitely a life changing experience. I can’t put into words how much I learned both personally and professionally. I met and worked with amazing people who are very close friends today and wouldn’t have met otherwise. However, what I most treasure about my experience in Sudan is how meaningful it all was at a personal level. I went there wanting to change the world, but that piece of the world called Sudan changed ME instead. If I had to make the decision all over again, I would definitely go to Sudan, only that this time I would stay twice as long.”
